To add or remove voting links to/from incoming messages:

  • In the webui go to Preferences->Quarantine Settings.
  • In the section Bayes Settings at the bottom make the appropriate changes to the S-2500, S-2600 and S-2700 settings. (Set S-2500 to No to disable links in message body.)

We recommend leaving S-2700 "Add training links in message headers" enabled. They will not be visible to the end user but they can allow an admin or knowledgeable users to still vote the message if required.

If you are concerned about the links being forwarded in replies, you may wish to try one of the Separate-Part options. This should allow users to reply to the body of the message without including the links. However, some mail readers will concatenate or strip out the links if they are a separate part, so this may not be effective for all users.

If the change is made in the default stream of the realm it will apply as the default for all streams in the realm.
