You can have Canit filter email based on the relay it comes from. However, we recommend that you consider using this carefully. The first thing you may not know is that the majority of the worlds spam comes from the US. The second thing to keep in mind is you must be careful not to block a country you can reasonably expect good email to come from. For example, we have had people block Canada and then wonder why they're not getting responses to their ticket requests.
Having said that, here is how you do it.
- - In the webui, in the stream the new rule is to apply to (the default stream if you want it to apply to everyone) go to Rules->Countries.
- - Select the country you are interested in, either by entering the two character international code or from the pull-down list of country names.
- - Add the score you want to have added. (Anything greater than S-300 and less than S-200 from the Preferences->Quarantine Settings page will result in the message being trapped in the pending quarantine.)
- - Click Submit Changes.
- - Repeat above for each country of interest.
