If you are receiving warning from CanIt that:
ClamAV daemon not responding... restarting. Stopping ClamAV daemon: clamd Waiting . . . . . . . . Starting ClamAV daemon: clamd .
This is typically a symptom of the MaxThreads setting in the /etc/clamav/clamd.conf file being set too low. This should be set to 100 if it is a much lower than that value currently.
