CPanel normally does not accept mail for a domain unless the machine running CPanel is the most-preferred MX record for the domain.

To configure CPanel to accept mail for a given domain even if the MX records point at CanIt, perform the following actions.

  • Log on to CPanel
  • Go to Home >> Mail >> MX Entry
  • Select the desired domain
  • Configure Email Routing to read Local Mail Exchanger
