Roaring Penguin Software releases CanIt 10.1.5

Roaring Penguin Software Inc., announces the release of CanIt 10.1.5. CanIt 10.1.5. improves e-mail security, particularly with improvements to CanIt’s Custom Rules and user interface.

CanIt 10.1.5 provides the following new features:

  • URLs re-written by the URL Proxy feature are now restored to their original destination when forwarded. This improves deliverability and simplifies reputation management for CanIt Domain-Pro users.
  • The URL Proxy landing page lets a user vote that a URL is malicious. Custom Rules, Delivery Policy Rules, and Secure Messaging rules can now match against URLs and URL host names in the message.

  • Custom Rules creation and editing is simplified by allowing rules to apply to an entire network range. Custom Rules (and similar rules like Archive Rules, etc.) as well as Archive and Log Searches can search within a network range (expressed as a CIDR).   • Filename Extension rules now work for “multi-extension” files. This improves security by allowing scanning rules to examine all files as their relevant file type.

  • CanIt Archiver now allows administrators to search and redeliver the results en masse or selectively.
  • Improvements to DKIM integration: administrators can now add multiple DKIM keys and selectors for a given domain.

Bobby Singh of TTEC Computers Wins Roaring Penguin Sweepstakes

Congratulations to Bobby Singh, of TTEC Computers, who won the Roaring Penguin ASCII Door Prize at the ASCII SMB Success Summit, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Roaring Penguin participated in the ASCII Summit to reach out to MSPs, especially resellers looking for options in the wake of the MX Logic end of service. The summit was a great success.
