CanIt 8.0.11 improves CanIt Software
New feature allows archiving of cloud-provider email
Roaring Penguin Software Inc.,is pleased to announce the release of CanIt 8.0.11. Improvements were added to both the CanIt anti-spam software and the CanIt Archiver software.
For the CanIt anti-spam software, a new feature improves the granularity of outbound rate limiting by allowing a system administrator to specify different rate-limits for senders as opposed to IP addresses in known networks. For example, a system administrator can set a limit of 100 recipients/hour for a given sender and 500/hour for a given IP address.
CanIt Archiver's major new feature allows users to archive mail from from cloud providers like Office 365 and Google Apps for Business that offer an Email Journalling feature. This allows CanIt Archiver (including Hosted CanIt Archiver) to archive all inbound, outbound and internal email from the cloud provider.
