- E-mail system based on Sun Java Enterprise using SunFire servers as MTAs and Sun v220s for user authentication
Need for a solution
- Wanted a solution with low daily maintenance
- Looking to improve upon spam catch-rates provided by their open-source solution
- Needed to reduce volume of spam e-mail hitting/passing through mail servers
Results
- Cut spam-related system administration time by two thirds
- Has allowed for increased end-user control and reduced the number of spam messages getting through to end-users
